Xuechun is major in Visual Communication Design at RIT. Before that, she was major in Envirmental Design and receives professional painting education from 10 years old. These combination of design and arts background give her passions and potenials on both fields and make her a good fit to UX, and Arts position at Google.
In last summer, she was interning at Face++, an hot AI company, where she not only iterate on the live face recognition process with friendly UI and illustrations, but also observing the inconsistency of icons across variant products thus redesign a whole new set of icons (40+) and greatly contribute to the overall visual languages.
Besides being top-tier at class under heavy courseload, she also completed a RA job responsible for design in a math search engine featuring handwriting recognition and now doing independent study on drawing storybooks under illustration professors.
